We donate a portion of every loan closed to some charities that are important to our family. 

Dana Farber Cancer Institute: Everyone we know has been touched by the loss of a loved one because of some form of Cancer.  The stories of survivors and those that have passed makes the work that Dana Farber does even more important.  "Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been the top ranked cancer hospital in New England by U.S. News and World Report for 18 consecutive years, and is the only cancer center in the country ranked in the top 4 for both adult and pediatric cancer programs." Eighty nine cents of every dollar goes directly to Dana Farber Cancer Institute. 

Buddy Dog Humane Society:   A local non-profit shelter in Sudbury, MA, Buddy Dog Humane society cares for, and facilitates the placement of stray, homeless, and unwanted pets into suitable homes.  MorningTide is happy to collect supplies and donate to help their endeavors to care and protect dogs and cats. 

Waltham Boys & Girls Club: Tom and Ula have been amazed by the stories shared at Boys & Girls Club Fundraiser Galas over the years. The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place for kids to go after school. Any child under the age of 18 can come and have a hot meal every weekday. They also have a place to study, and activities to keep them engaged and happy. They have a range of programs from STEM to Aquatics, Music, Sports, and Fitness as well as many Teen Programs.  It is an incredible program and critical for the youth of Waltham where they are able to be productive, caring, and responsible citizens. 

The Lexington PMC Kids Ride:  MorningTide Financial Group has been a corporate sponsor in the past. 100% of all rider-raised donations goes directly to Dana-Farber. This is a great local event where the kids in our community can raise money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. While we were not able to host an event last year due to Covid, but we hope that we will be able to do so again in the very near future.

Other great projects/organizations we were able to donate to last year: The Black History Project of Lexington, Community Endowment of Lexington, Project Boom, and several local food pantries in Massachusetts.
